Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to the most common questions.

CallMeToRemind is a reminder app that calls you on your phone at scheduled times. Unlike push notifications that are easy to miss or ignore, a phone call ensures you never miss important tasks, appointments, or moments.

Most reminder apps send push notifications, which can easily be missed, ignored, or silenced. CallMeToRemind actually calls your phone, making it much harder to miss important reminders. It's perfect for time-sensitive tasks where you absolutely can't afford to forget.

Yes! We take your privacy seriously. Your phone number is encrypted and never shared with third parties. We use secure Google Sign-In for authentication and encrypted data storage for all your reminder information.

CallMeToRemind is available on both major mobile platforms:

  • iOS: iPhone running iOS 15.0 or later (available on the App Store)
  • Android: Devices running Android 8.0 (Oreo) or later (available on Google Play)

Creating a reminder is simple:

  1. Tap the "+" button on the main screen
  2. Enter a title for your reminder
  3. Optionally add a description
  4. Select the date and time
  5. Tap "Save"

That's it! You'll receive a phone call at the scheduled time.

Yes! You can edit or delete any upcoming reminder. Simply tap on the reminder in your list to edit it, or swipe left and tap the delete button to remove it. Note that past reminders cannot be edited but can be deleted.

If you miss the call, it will appear in your phone's call history as a missed call from CallMeToRemind. The reminder will also be marked as "past" in your app. We recommend keeping your phone's ringer on for important reminders.

Recurring reminders are not available in the current version, but it's a feature we're considering for a future update. For now, you'll need to create individual reminders for each occurrence.

If you're not receiving reminder calls, please check the following:

  • Phone number: Make sure you verified the correct phone number in the app
  • Do Not Disturb: Check if DND is enabled on your phone
  • Call blocking: Ensure our number isn't blocked (check Settings > Phone > Blocked Contacts)
  • Carrier issues: Sometimes calls may be blocked by your carrier's spam filter

If you've checked all these and still have issues, please contact support.

To change your phone number:

  1. Open CallMeToRemind
  2. Go to Settings (gear icon)
  3. Tap on your phone number
  4. Enter your new number and verify with OTP

No, a verified phone number is required to use CallMeToRemind. Since the app's core feature is calling you with reminders, we need a valid phone number to deliver those calls. Your number is encrypted and kept secure.

Currently, CallMeToRemind supports phone numbers in the United States and Canada. We're working on expanding to more countries in the future. Standard carrier rates may apply for receiving calls depending on your phone plan.
